The 6th SeaFlux workshop was held in Vienna, Austria, on the 19th and 20th of September 2013. It was a joint workshop with our LandFlux colleagues. Combined meetings were held on the 19th of September, and then our own breakout sessions on the 20th of September.
This workshop was held in conjunction with the 2013 EUMETSAT Meteorological Satellite Conference & 19th American Meteorological Society AMS Satellite Meteorology, Oceanography, and Climatology Conference, which was held September 16 – 20th in Vienna, Austria.
Notes from the original call:
There will be a separate call for talks within the workshop itself. You DO NOT need to register for the EUMETSAT/AMS Satellite Conference in order to meet at/talk at the SeaFlux workshop. However, we urge everyone to submit an abstract and/or register for the EUMETSAT/AMS Conference. The website to do so is: http://www.eumetsat.int/Home/Main/News/Conferences_and_Events/820209?l=en
PLEASE NOTE: The deadline for abstract submission for the EUMETSAT/AMS conference is 18 February 2013.
The SeaFlux/LandFlux workshop has been given space at the Conference venue, to make it easy for everyone to attend both — and for those who don’t typically attend the SeaFlux workshops to stop by and get a sense of what is happening within the SeaFlux community.
As more details are confirmed, we will share them with you via this site. Please direct any questions to firstname.lastname@example.org.
