The SeaFlux Version 1 turbulent fluxes include latent and sensible heat fluxes globally over water (no ice or land) every three hours from January 1, 1998 to December 31, 2007.

Available Data:

Latent Heat Flux – The latent heat flux (LHF) is proportional to the evaporation rate, dependent upon the air-sea humidity difference and wind speed. Units: W/m2

Sensible Heat Flux – The sensible heat flux (SHF) is proportional to the temperature difference between the atmosphere and the sea surface. Units: W/m2
